Teeth Grinding, Nail Biting, Thumb Sucking etc

As well as addictive behaviors we also have success in treating teeth grinding, nail biting, thumb sucking, hair pulling, bed wetting, blushing and other negative behaviors. Along with unwanted chocolate and coffee habits.

Teeth Grinding (Bruxism) and jaw clenching  is a common symptom of anxiety and stress. Hypnotherapy can be very effective at resolving this bad habit by both direct suggestion and by reducing levels of anxiety and stress.

A useful phrase could be used to describe some habits as ’empty habits’. Many habits originated as symptoms of conflict and anxiety but now the habit remains even though the conflicts and anxieties may have gone or been outlived.
