Description |
This is an eight session Stress Reduction Programme using a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and meditation to focus your thoughts / mind on the present. This stops negative thinking and prevents you from getting stressed. It will also reduce any stress you have at present. |

The background to Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction as developed by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn has been running since 1979.
Dealing with chronic tension and anxiety that continually drives our lives on automatic pilot. This stress is only compounded when we are faced with a serious medical condition, with chronic pain or a chronic disease.
The only way we have of influencing the future is to own the present, however we find it. Then we just might finds ways to live the life that is actually ours to live.
