The background to Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction as developed by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn and has been running since 1979.
Dealing with chronic tension and anxiety that continually drives our lives on automatic pilot. This stress is only compounded when we are faced with a serious medical condition, with chronic pain or a chronic disease.
